Every year on February 27, fans around the world celebrate Pokemon Day, the anniversary of the very first Pokemon games launching in Japan in 1996. It is the perfect excuse to open a few packs, or to surprise a Pokemon fan in your life with something new. This guide sorts our Prismatic Evolutions picks by budget and buyer, and explains how to order singly or in bulk from Pokemon District.

What is Pokemon Day?

Pokemon Day falls on February 27 each year and marks the anniversary of the first Pokemon games, released in Japan in 1996. Fans celebrate by playing, trading and opening new cards, and special products are sometimes released around it.

One example was the Prismatic Evolutions 2-Pack Blister released for Pokemon Day 2025. It included two Prismatic Evolutions booster packs, an Eevee promo card stamped with the Pokemon Day 2025 logo, a collectible Eevee coin and a code card for the Pokemon TCG online game. We also stock the Pokemon Day 2026 Collection in our Pokemon TCG range.

Why Prismatic Evolutions makes a good Pokemon Day gift

Eevee is one of the most loved Pokemon, and Prismatic Evolutions gives every fan a favourite: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon all feature. Because it is a special set, it is sold through collection boxes, tins and bundles rather than standard booster boxes, which makes it easy to find a gift at almost any size.

Small gifts

• Prismatic Evolutions Mini Tin: compact, collectible and easy to wrap.
• Tech Sticker Collection: 3 booster packs, a foil Eeveelution promo, a tech sticker sheet and a Pokemon TCG Live code card. A good choice for younger fans.

• Elite Trainer Box: 9 booster packs, a full-art foil Eevee promo, 65 Eevee-themed sleeves, 45 Energy cards, dice, condition markers and a player’s guide.
• Premium Figure Collection: 11 booster packs, Espeon ex and Umbreon ex etched foil promos, a figure, an enamel pin and 65 sleeves.

Gifts for collectors vs players

Collectors usually value promos, display pieces and sealed condition. The Poster Collection, Binder Collection and Premium Figure Collection all give them something to show off as well as packs to open.

Players get more use from items with accessories and lots of packs. The Elite Trainer Box is the strongest pick here, with sleeves, Energy cards and dice included, while the Booster Bundle is a simple way to add cards to a deck.
