What’s Included in ST-02

Everything you need to start playing is included in the box. The Worst Generation starter deck comes with:

• 51 pre-constructed cards forming a complete, ready-to-play deck
• 10 DON!! cards, the resource cards used to power your attacks and abilities each turn
• 1 playsheet to guide you through turn structure and game flow
• 1 leader card featuring Eustass Captain Kid

The deck arrives sealed and is ready to play immediately. No additional cards are needed to begin your first game.

Why Choose the Worst Generation Deck

The One Piece Card Game ST-02 is one of the standout options from the original starter deck lineup for good reason. The Worst Generation theme centres on a crew of powerful, aggressive pirates, and that identity carries through into how the deck plays. If you are drawn to characters like Eustass Kid and the chaotic energy of the Worst Generation, this deck puts that fantasy directly in your hands.

For anyone new to the One Piece TCG, this starter set removes the most common barrier: not knowing what cards to pair together. The deck has been designed as a cohesive unit, so every card supports the overall strategy without any gaps.

Deck Strategy and Playstyle

The green starter deck for the One Piece TCG leans into a tempo-based strategy. Tempo play means developing your board efficiently turn by turn, using your DON!! cards to press an advantage and keep pressure on your opponent before they can stabilise.

Eustass Captain Kid as the leader card encourages forward momentum. The deck rewards players who like to stay active, develop characters quickly, and maintain board presence throughout the game. This makes it a natural fit for players who prefer an engaging, action-forward experience over a slow, control-heavy approach.

If you are considering your first One Piece TCG purchase and want a deck that teaches you how to build momentum and use your resources efficiently, the Worst Generation deck is a strong starting point.

Card Contents and Leader

The leader card is Eustass Captain Kid, one of the most recognisable figures from the Worst Generation in the One Piece universe. The supporting 51-card deck is built around characters and events that complement his playstyle, making the deck feel thematically consistent as well as strategically focused.

The included 10 DON!! cards are the energy system of the One Piece Card Game. Each turn you attach DON!! to characters or use them for special effects, so understanding how to manage them is central to mastering the game. Having them included alongside the playsheet makes ST-02 genuinely self-contained as a learning tool.
